...BUT OUR CLINIC HISTORY GOES BACK TO 1987... Dr. Mark O'Gorman and Dr. Bob Arend were graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in the top 10% of their class in 1985. After serving as an associate in a mixed animal practice in Ponder, Texas, Dr. O'Gorman opened this practice in a small strip shopping center on Denton Highway & Chapman Road on January 9, 1987. Denton Highway was a two-lane country road at the time.  After practicing as an associate in small animal practices in both Galveston and Amarillo, as well as working six months in a Lubbock small animal emergency clinic, Dr. Arend partnered with his former classmate on September 29, 1989.
After a few short years the practice had grown enough to support the construction of a free-standing clinic on Basswood Blvd., and the Animal Hospital of Park Glen opened its doors on January 9, 1993.
Continued practice growth allowed the addition of Dr. Rob Reigle to the professional staff on October 6, 1996. Dr. Reigle received his undergraduate degree at TCU, then attended veterinary college at the University of Illinois.  Five years later Dr. Brannon Jackson joined the practice after being graduated from Oklahoma State University. As the Park Glen area continued to develop rapidly, so did our practice, and before long the hospital that was supposed to take us to retirement seemed too small. Because of this growth the doctors made the decision to open another practice and after much planning Alliance Animal Health Center opened on Heritage Trace Parkway on June 6, 2007.
The doctors practice medicine from both clinics but at the present time the majority of our surgical procedures are performed at Alliance Animal Health Center.
